James T. Brody
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
James Brody serves as a Senior Project Manager at ARCH Consultants, Ltd. A seasoned professional in both construction administration and design, his experience encompasses technically complex new construction and redevelopment of domestic and international commercial facilities across a wide range of building types, from high rises and data centers to higher learning facilities and hospitals.
Mr. Brody’s experience also includes feasibility evaluation and analysis of complex building systems; sustainable design and construction; consulting engineering, due diligence reporting for property sale, damage assessment, and troubleshooting; and facilities management.
Prior to joining ARCH, Mr. Brody served as Senior Consultant at Henneman Engineering, where he was responsible for construction administration and close-out of all Chicago-area projects for a variety of public and private sector clients including Northern Illinois University, Chicago Public Schools, and The Boeing Company.
Prior to joining Henneman Engineering, Mr. Brody spent more then a decade at Environmental Systems Design in Chicago, rising to Senior Associate. He served in multiple roles including project management design review, contract management, and program management for some of the company’s most challenging projects. For example, he managed a commercial office space design project for Bank of America’s Chicago headquarters, data center, and eight branch banks—over one million square feet—with no interruption in daily banking operations.
Education
Mr. Brody graduated cum laude from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from St. Joseph College in Hammond, Indiana. Mr. Brody received his Master of Architecture degree from Illinois Institute of Technology.
