ARCH’s 15th Anniversary Event
ARCH Consultants, Ltd. celebrated their 15th anniversary at the Arlington International Racetrack. We are grateful for all of the colleagues and friends that we have made over the years and look forward to many more successful years to come guiding the building process from vision to occupancy.

Engage Center Grand Opening
The Village at Orchard Ridge, a Life Plan Community in Winchester, Virginia, celebrated the grand open of their new Engage Center. The wellness center features an aquatics, art studio, fitness center, massage studio, life enrichment studios, and therapy spaces. ARCH served as project manager, guiding the project from initial conception through opening.

Sedgebrook Featured in EFA Design Showcase
The Environments for Aging (EFA) design showcase featured the Harvest Bistro at Sedgebrook, a renovated dining venue for the Lincolnshire, Illinois campus. The Tuscan wine country theme sets the stage for an energetic atmosphere. ARCH served as Owner’s Representative for the project completed in October of 2015. For the full article, click here.

New Administrative Assistant
ARCH is pleased to announce that Milissa Rowell has joined the staff as Administrative Assistant to the firm. Ms. Rowell will support day-to-day operations coordinating staff travel arrangements, maintaining office supply inventories, preparing monthly project reports and assisting in implementing administrative systems to maintain the efficient workflow. Prior to joining ARCH, she served as graphic designer and marketing coordinator for corporations in the Chicagoland area. Her solid understanding of a productive office environment and strong work ethic makes her a perfect match for our team.

Bethesda Repositioning Groundbreaking
Bethesda Rehab & Senior Care broke ground on an expansion and renovation to the existing rehabilitation center. The project includes new offices for staff, updated resident rooms, renovations to common areas and a new separate entrance for the therapy area. ARCH serves as Owner’s Representative for the project located in Chicago, Illinois.

ULI Developer Showcase
ARCH was selected to feature a project at the ULI Fall Meeting first-ever Developer Showcase. Conference attendees had the opportunity to browse 40 real estate projects on display, including The Village at Orchard Ridge, presented by Frank Muraca.

Larry Minnix Honored
Frank Muraca and daughter Alexandra were pleased to honor Larry Minnix, President and CEO of LeadingAge, at this year’s Sterling Friendship Award Dinner. Larry was presented the Sterling Friendship Award which is given to an individual recognized for his/her significant contributions and accomplishments in society. ARCH is a proud sponsor of the Friendship Senior Options event.

TheWorxHub User Conference Panel
Frank Muraca and Brit Vipham attended TheWorxHub User Conference 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana. ARCH has assisted with the implementation and monitoring of the software for clients since 2012. Best practices were reviewed, new software introduced, and Brit spoke on a panel communicating how the reporting aspect of the software can help establish Key Performance Indicators for your organization.

Final Building Phase Completed
The Village at Rockville completed the renovation of a four-story, multi-wing intermediate care facility in Maryland. The four year phased project included reconfigured public spaces and back-of-house areas; a new entrance to the existing chapel; new assisted living, skilled nursing, and dementia units; and associated amenities for each area of care. ARCH served as Project Manager for all phases of construction.

Evergreen Grand Opening
Covenant Village of Northbrook celebrated the grand opening of The Evergreen, a new residential building. The Evergreen is a four-story building containing 55 apartment homes, common areas and underground parking. Click here for more information on the open house celebration.
